Does EZKR8 move or change my music files?
No. EZKR8 inventories your library and works with the files where they already live. It does not move, rename or delete your music.
Does EZKR8 provide or download music?
No. EZKR8 helps you organize music you already own. It does not provide, sell or distribute music files.
Which DJ software does EZKR8 support?
EZKR8 creates M3U playlists, Serato crates, Rekordbox XML files and Traktor NML files using your existing local paths. Direct Engine DJ and djay Pro library export are not currently included.
Can EZKR8 tell clean, dirty, intro and remix versions apart?
Prepare surfaces the possible local files so you can preview them and choose the exact clean, dirty, intro, remix or alternate version you want. You can also select multiple useful versions of one song.
What happens when I paste a Spotify playlist link?
EZKR8 reads up to the first 100 available songs from a public Spotify playlist, removes repeated song-and-artist entries, and lets you review the list before sending it to Prepare. Prepare then matches those song titles and artists against music you already own. EZKR8 does not require a Spotify sign-in, stream Spotify audio, or download music.
Does EZKR8 store or upload my music?
No. EZKR8 never uploads or stores your music files. Your music stays on your computer, external drive or USB. The Scanner securely synchronizes only the library information needed to match and organize your collection in Prepare.
How many Macs can I use?
The one-Mac plan authorizes one Mac, and the two-Mac plan authorizes up to two Macs with a separate synchronized library for each computer. Permanent beta-team accounts retain two-Mac access. Scanner 3.0 is available for both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Will the private beta team be charged?
No. Invited beta DJs have free access with no card, trial charge or automatic billing.
How does the free trial work?
Create and verify your account, then start one free seven-day trial for Scanner and Prepare access on one Mac. No card is required and there is no automatic charge. The trial ends automatically; subscribe whenever you are ready to continue.
Can I use EZKR8 on my phone or tablet?
No. EZKR8 is built for a compatible Mac laptop or desktop because the Scanner must connect directly to the music stored on your computer, external drive, or USB. Phones and tablets are not supported.
